Love Green

Green is one of my happy colors. It makes me think of spring, fresh smells, early morning sunrise. I just love green!!! Here is a LO of DD playing in the dirt. The main PP is Stemma, as well as the journal card. And my all time favorite KI mini alpha soup!!! I even pulled out the sewing machine for this one (that was fun)

you got the greenlight*

green is so refreshing, and it really caught my eye when matched with black and white, like in the stemma paper used in the layout above.

when i first saw this paper, i knew i wanted to use it for a very special photo. a pretty photo, to go with the pretty paper, i thought. i also knew i wanted to use white cardstock, white type and a black and white photo.

later, i picked up some green bling, and a pack of black and white jumbo expoxy brads. the perfect compliments.

the layout itself had been in my head for weeks! it just so happened that green was the color of choice at the IW blog, that i decided to bring this layout to life. so last night i got to cracking, and here it is, just like i wanted it to be! here are a few other shots.

Think Green.....

Can you believe I scrapped? And this is not my only LO! LOL. I had fun!! Let's all give Toya a nice big pat on the back for coming up with a great idea!

I promise, I can scrap everyday for the rest of my life and never have to buy any supplies. Seriously. I went waaaaaaaaaayyy back with some KI paper, Scenic Route, and some A2Z. I used MM velvet stickers, HS Frames, mailbox stickers, and ghost letters, and 7 Gypsies stickers. I even tried a little machine stitching, which was NOT easy on all that plastic....and don't worry, I did NOT use my good machine lol. My mom made me promise not to sew paper with it! Tee hee!

And a little closeup. As I said, my machine did NOT like the layers of plastic lol. My thread kept breaking lol.

Alright guys, let's get scrapping!!!!!!
Toodles!

Green, as opposed to red, means safety; it is the color of free passage in road traffic.
