just beautiful... as soon as i cracked the husk open in the market, and saw this wonderful surprise inside, i was just giddy with excitement. I KNEW I was going to have to capture them, before they went into the pot. I knew they would be perfect for the blog! there is something about corn on the cob, that brings up so many memories of summertime BBQs. I mean for real, cause at a good ole fashioned BBQ, corn is usually the only veggie there.
I like to cook mine with a little bit of salt and suger in the pot. When they are done, I drain the pot, and then I add more butter and some more salt and sugar, while still in the hot pot. HMMM HMMM GOOD.
I don't see corn on the cob much during the winter months, so its always a treat when the weather is warm!
...and all this to say, don't forget to scrapbook those summertime memories!!! They will be good to have when the winter hits...
