Oh Snap!

(In honor of all things RED, here's my "mommy-mantra" photo symbolizing power in Women/Mothers especially Mama's in RED!) or just being plain ol' silly!

Hey you guys! I'm Ronalyn, the other resident photographer on board! I'm so excited to be on board and talk all things Scrapbooking and Photography! First and foremost, I am a mother of three (Caelan 11; Ethan 9; and Isabel 4) and looking forward to our 11 year anniversary in a few weeks (May 21, wink, wink). The Air Force brings us to Alaska right now and it's actually a beautiful place to live, believe it or not! Although, the winters drag on and on, the long Spring/Summer days make up for the hibernation. This beach-gal who was bred in the island of Oahu, has now learned to embrace the Great Outdoors. We have snowboarded, learn to ski, even ice skating. Not to mention, hiking, camping, long bike riding expeditions, and all things outdoors. It is possible to become acclimated to the environment too.

I currently work for Simple Scrapbooks Digital Magazine and I am the R in R Barut Photography. I live to create or create to live. Through the years it has been and still is an outlet for me, to be able to do something creative everyday. From creating scrapbook pages, to taking photographs, or arranging flowers. It is my way to relax and unwind after a long day of work and mothering everyone else. Scrapbooking allows me to share my life stories with loved ones. There is something special about being the families' very own editor in chief of our life's chronicles. It is priceless, the memories we create on a day to day basis. So many things I always want to keep tucked away in an album in hopes of reliving lost moments. Whether those moments are filled with lots of joy or sadness, these are all moments that mold and shape us into who we are today.

As with all my blogs, I intend on meeting new people and establishing a connection through our common bond. I can't even begin to tell you how many real friends I've made through the world wide web ***cough, cough, Adrienne and Toya*** just to name a few. It's amazing the connections you can make upon clicking "Send" or "Post".

As you have guessed by now, I'm the blabbing type! I could go on and on! I can't wait to meet all the new "Screen Names" :)
