RED....How do you work it?

Alright guys, the timing couldn't have been MORE perfect when I got this yarn in the mail. I'm going to show you a pic SOOC (straight out of camera) and I am going to show you a GOOD photoshop conversion, and then I will show you how photoshop can RUIN your pictures. Too much of ANYTHING Is NOT always good.....ready? Ok, here we go....

ok The above picture is straight out of camera. Red can be VERY hard to photograph correctly. I hardly EVER use automatic settings on my camera. And had I done it on this picture, it would have been awful. Because I was in the shade the flash would have popped up. Next time, I will take a pic on auto and show you the difference between auto and manual. Moving on....

This picture is VERY OVER DONE in PS. It does not look natural at ALL. NO kinda way. I really over did the saturation on this. Look at the color difference of this picture and the one above it. Just not right lol....but lastly I will leave you with a little "eye candy".....

For this picture, all I did was played with the channel mixer. JUST A LITTLE BIT, But it is still close enough to the actual color and not over done. In my opinion anyway. I am NOT an expert, but feel I have learned and am learning enough to contribute.

Thanks Have a great day!
